DIY oh why oh why.....

Hello This weekend my Hubby has decided to DIY.... He has painted the hall stairs and landing (after the new carpet was laid...)
Now he is putting down a new wood floor in the hall.
I will be glad to see this floor finished. We have 3 cats and a dog 3 bikes an 11 year old footballer and all my husband's tools that regularly paraded thro the hall... the carpet was originally a pale biscuit/cream colour . No amount of cleaning would rescue its original colour/texture.

Started my new job this week. I have gone back to work at a previous company i worked for. It feels as if I have never been away. We opened a new shop it was hard work but great to be back with people who really know what team work is all about.

It only took Amanda , my manager, half a day to increase my hours... she thought she had slipped that in on the rota without me noticing!!!!

I will take a photo of the finished floor before the cats bikes dog footballer and DIY man walk on it !  Bye for now x

   Its sunday morning again.
Emptied the dishwasher... put the darks in the wash.... cleaned down the work surfaces... and the list goes on.
BUT i am going to enjoy the ironing. I am going to watch a new DVD.... I have bought the very first series of ER !!! oh to be transported back to the drama of the ER.

NEW JOB AND DIGI IMAGES

HI  Its saturday morning and I am sitting in the school cafeteria while my son, Joseph, and his friend, Kerry, are learning how to decorate cakes.
I take these opportunities to 'do' a little crafting. Usually its jewellery I make as the bits I use are small and portable.
Today i thought I would bring my lap top with me and update my blog.

I recently left my job and am about to return to work with my old company. we are awaiting the opening of a new store BUT, as with all store openings things never go to plan. Apparently its the electrics this time.Will let you know how it goes.

Digi images.... have you come across them yet? They are a new thing to me. I have been a traditionalist up to now... Acrylic or wooden stamps and ink... I took up a challenge to make a Christmas card using a digi image and a carol or Christmas song words and music. see aside the finished product.

I found a few sites that offer free digi images for you to use. If you have never tried it I recommend you do.Off to do some jewellery making now. x

A busy friday...

Hi Well its Friday again
The days seem to fly by,is it because I am having fun ? or because I am getting old?

This week has been particularly busy. For 3 days I have looked after my granddaughter Ella, I have worked 2 days.
Yesterday evening I attended a focus group with Docrafts. we were looking at future products and reviewing the magazine. It was extremely interesting, and I got to meet 11 other docraft crafters!
I am posting some of the jewellery I made hope you like it.

I heard about a great store selling beads, its called Bedazzelled Beads. Went along to have a look and stocked up on some new beads.

Spent all day at work today. I missed spending some time with our granddaughter,Maisie Amelia.
My husband looked after her. She was a poppet.Thursday was the birthday of our other granddaughter, Ella Emelia, she is now one year old.
